History

1984

Dave Von Deylen acquired an ownership stake.

1987

Headquarters was built in Ridgeville Corners.

1990

A 15,000ft2 addition was built to house bending operations.

1996

A 50,000ft2 addition was built to house presses, robotics, and tooling engineering.

1997

Alex Products became QS-9000 and ISO-9002 certified. The company received a quality supplier award from Johnson Controls for excellent performance in Quality, Delivery, & Cost. This was the first year of Johnson Controls North American Supplier Expectation Day.

1998

A 50,000ft2 manufacturing expansion was built.

2000

A-Stamp Industries was founded.

2002

Autocoat was founded in Bryan, OH. A second Alex Products facility was built in Paulding, OH. A 50,000ft2 building was erected.

2003

Alex Products became TS-16949 and ISO-14001 certified. The Paulding facility was expanded with an additional 55,000ft2 being added.

2004

The Technical Engineering Center was moved out of Ridgeville Manufacturing into their own building with an additional 40,000ft2 added for the machine building to house prototypes and design/build groups for machinery and robotics.

2007

A dual powder line was added to Autocoat.

2010

A strategic relationship with AP Alternatives began.

2011

Alex Products received the Platinum Supplier Award and Excellence in Execution from Johnson Controls.

2015

Alex Products received its 20th consecutive Supplier Quality Award from Johnson Controls for best in class Quality, Cost, & Delivery.

2016

Alex Products Corporate and Accounting Offices relocated. Bryan facility has expanded production operations and loading docks.
